Rongla is a village of Patiala tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Patiala, about 8 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 1,075 people in Rongla: 566 men and 509 women, living in 202 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household.
