Where is Rourgarh?

Rourgarh is a village of Patiala tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Patiala, about 15 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Patiala community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036474, and it covers 1,006 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,461 people in Rourgarh: 771 men and 690 women, living in 291 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household.
