Where is Salempur Brahmana?

Salempur Brahmana is a village of Patiala tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Sanaur, about 15 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sanaur community development block and is served by the Salem--Pur--Brahmana gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036621, and it covers 117 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 640 people in Salempur Brahmana: 355 men and 285 women, living in 129 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household.
