Batriana is a village of Bhawanigarh tehsil in Sangrur district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Bhawani Garh, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Bhawanigarh community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039727, and it covers 677 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 2,322 people in Batriana: 1,248 men and 1,074 women, living in 436 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household.
