Harlalpur is a village of Kharar tehsil in SAS Nagar district, Punjab, in the Puadh region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Kharar, about 3 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Kharar community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039096, and it covers 198 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 783 people in Harlalpur: 419 men and 364 women, living in 143 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household. Spread over its 198 hectares, the population density works out to about 395 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 869 women for every 1,000 men.
