Sukhgarh is a village in SAS Nagar tehsil of SAS Nagar district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Puadh region, and the 2011 directory recorded S.A.S. Nagar, about 7 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Kharar community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039172, and it covers 242 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 860 people in Sukhgarh: 448 men and 412 women, living in 166 households, an average of about 5.2 people per household. Spread over its 242 hectares, the population density works out to about 355 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 920 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 104, about 12 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 131 people, about 15 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
