The row before the session
A day earlier, reports said Jhota's name was missing from the initial list of obituary references, which drew criticism from BJP leaders. The Speaker's office said on Thursday morning that the House would pay homage to him, and he was included. BJP leaders protested outside the Assembly over drugs and the killing of those who speak against them.
