Population and households

The 2011 census counted 4,486 people in Chak Arainwala: 2,528 men and 1,958 women, living in 764 households, an average of about 5.9 people per household. Spread over its 533 hectares, the population density works out to about 842 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 775 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 601, about 13 per cent of the village.
