Where is Kahlwan?

Kahlwan is a village of Dasua tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Dasua, about 16 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Tanda community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030729, and it covers 126 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 710 people in Kahlwan: 352 men and 358 women, living in 152 households, an average of about 4.7 people per household.
