Where is Motla?

Motla is a village in Mukerian tehsil of Hoshiarpur district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Mukerian, about 14 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Mukerian community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031166, and it covers 361 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 157 people in Motla: 81 men and 76 women, living in 30 households, an average of about 5.2 people per household.
