Pandori Mehtwan is a village of Hoshiarpur tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Hoshiarpur, about 15 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Hoshiarpur-I community development block and is served by the Pandorimehtwan gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031708, and it covers 200 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 783 people in Pandori Mehtwan: 381 men and 402 women, living in 186 households, an average of about 4.2 people per household. Spread over its 200 hectares, the population density works out to about 392 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1055 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 72, about 9 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 236 people, about 30 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
