The village falls in the Bhunga community development block and is served by the Pandori--Sumla gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031382, and it covers 88 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 935 people in Pandori Sumla: 448 men and 487 women, living in 205 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household. Spread over its 88 hectares, the population density works out to about 1,062 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1087 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 87, about 9 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 546 people, about 58 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
