Sahaura Kandi is a village in Mukerian tehsil of Hoshiarpur district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Mukerian, about 7 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Hazipur community development block and is served by the Sahaura-Kandi gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031041, and it covers 379 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 995 people in Sahaura Kandi: 497 men and 498 women, living in 199 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household. Spread over its 379 hectares, the population density works out to about 263 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1002 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 115, about 12 per cent of the village.
