Where is Sudhari?

Sudhari is a village of Mukerian tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Mukerian, about 11 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Hazipur community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031240, and it covers 41 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 413 people in Sudhari: 214 men and 199 women, living in 88 households, an average of about 4.7 people per household. Spread over its 41 hectares, the population density works out to about 1,007 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 930 women for every 1,000 men.
