Wariah is a village of Phagwara tehsil in Kapurthala district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Phagwara, about 9 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Phagwara community development block and is served by the Dewa Singhwala gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029625, and it covers 48 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 153 people in Wariah: 63 men and 90 women, living in 30 households, an average of about 5.1 people per household.
