Mangarh is a village of Ludhiana East tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Sahnewal, about 6 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ludhiana-II community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033450, and it covers 306 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,612 people in Mangarh: 898 men and 714 women, living in 381 households, an average of about 4.2 people per household.
