Arain Majra is a village of Samana tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Samana, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Samana community development block and is served by the Araunmazr gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036166, and it covers 348 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,190 people in Arain Majra: 642 men and 548 women, living in 240 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household. Children up to the age of six numbered 133, about 11 per cent of the village.
