Where is Mardan Heri?

Mardan Heri is a village in Samana tehsil of Patiala district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Samana, about 16 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Samana community development block and is served by the Mardanher gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036167, and it covers 382 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,961 people in Mardan Heri: 1,071 men and 890 women, living in 383 households, an average of about 5.1 people per household.
