Asmanpur is a village of Samana tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Samana, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Samana community development block and is served by the Assmanpur gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036171, and it covers 495 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,417 people in Asmanpur: 763 men and 654 women, living in 310 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household.
