Kheri Barna is a village of Patiala tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Patiala, about 20 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 1,075 people in Kheri Barna: 553 men and 522 women, living in 194 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household.
