Nangran Kalmot is a village of Nangal tehsil in Rupnagar district, Punjab, in the Puadh region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Nangal, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nurpur Bedi community development block and is served by the Nangran, Kamlot gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 038536, and it covers 1,183 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 4,427 people in Nangran Kalmot: 2,246 men and 2,181 women, living in 894 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household. Children up to the age of six numbered 512, about 12 per cent of the village.
