Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,231 people in Devinagar: 679 men and 552 women, living in 290 households, an average of about 4.2 people per household. Spread over its 188 hectares, the population density works out to about 655 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 813 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 148, about 12 per cent of the village.
