Mazara Nauabad is a village of Banga tehsil in SBS Nagar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Banga, about 4 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Aur community development block and is served by the Majar Noabad gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 032200, and it covers 162 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,182 people in Mazara Nauabad: 612 men and 570 women, living in 260 households, an average of about 4.5 people per household. Spread over its 162 hectares, the population density works out to about 730 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 931 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 119, about 10 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 558 people, about 47 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
