Police have identified the headless body found at Nature Park near the dumping ground in Zirakpur's Peermuchalla area as Vishal, a daily wager from Uttar Pradesh aged around 20-22, who lived in rented accommodation in Shiv Nagar, Peermuchalla, with his wife and child. His wife and 10-month-old child have been missing since October 6, police said.

The body was spotted on Thursday morning by morning walkers from nearby residential societies, who informed the police. A tattoo bearing the name ‘Vishal’ on the victim's arm was among the key clues that helped establish his identity.
