The Election Commission has ordered a Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls in Punjab and 16 other states and UTs, with draft rolls on November 12 and final rolls on January 4, 2027.ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਮੇਤ 17 ਰਾਜਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਸੋਧ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਖਰੜਾ ਸੂਚੀ 12 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਤੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੂਚੀ 4 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2027 ਨੂੰ ਛਪੇਗੀ।

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday dedicated 154 new Aam Aadmi Clinics at a rally in Harkhowal village of Hoshiarpur district, taking Punjab's clinic network to 1,245 and saying the facilities have recorded 6.48 crore OPD visits so far.ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਹਰਖੋਵਾਲ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ 154 ਨਵੇਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ 1,245 ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 6.48 ਕਰੋੜ ਓਪੀਡੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

Punjab recorded 51 stubble-burning incidents in 24 hours, the highest single-day count of this paddy season, taking the season tally to 174 as farm fires rose nearly 70 per cent in a week. Pathankot Police have busted a cross-border heroin smuggling module, arresting two operatives including a woman and seizing 7.823 kg of heroin in a two-stage operation.
