Punjab's state power utility has shelved its plan to raise Rs 10,000 crore through bonds from the market, opting instead for a Rs 5,500 crore bank loan that the board says is enough for working capital for now.ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੇ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਂਡਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ 10,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਜੁਟਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ; ਬੋਰਡ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ 5,500 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਬੈਂਕ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਹਾਲੇ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੈ।
